It is funny how Horn fans try to place Aggies season in the same bucket as theirs. I guess it makes some feel better. Did we compete for a Conf Championship in a season when the schedule lined up right for us? No. Am in disappointed? Yes. But just because Horns and Aggie aren't winning a Conf championship doesn't mean we have experienced the same disappointment. We have doubled Horns win total already and could still win 9 or 10 games. .

Our programs are in different places even though neither fan bases are content. Your blind and naive if you think otherwise. It will probably show in recruiting as well come Feb.

I/we totally get it. Its just the blowhards are ridiculous in their hatred of Texas and their ridiculous thoughtsabout the success of their own team. Imho you shouldnt talk smack about a program that has been far superior throughout history unless you win big and close the gap. You dont see us talking smack about Alabama after a loss now do you?

However Texas is 7-1-1 against mighty Bama, hi paul, and would be 8-0-1 without.....well you get the point.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Texas would be 3-1 or 4-0 w9th the aggies ooc schedule. Are they really seperated by that much? Ags are 4-0 ooc. Would have lost to ND......Cal would be a good game.

No but it might suck this year of CS rumors don't quiet down. Don't get me wrong Texas will always recruit fairly well. It's just different with Baylor, OU, and TCU picking up momentum.

There is only one of the program's you mentioned that uses the other as a measuring stick.

Just go win something instead of telling us how awesome you are.

The CS rumors could definitely hurt this year thats for sure. So did I miss someone comparing the two programs or was it you comparing them? And with Texas sucking just as bad last year they still had a higher recruiting class than the Aggies... what makes you think that they would be so much worse off this year besides the CS rumors? Baylor OU and TCU were pretty dang good last year as well.

I didn't say anything about how awesome we are. I said it's been disappointing, not dismal.
