Still no progress update on the website for mine. My paperwork was received on 1/30 according to USPS.

I am in CHL Instructor school right now in Georgetown and we were told you can receive your license as early as 30 days from the time DPS has all of your paperwork. If you apply online with DPS and get printed before you take your class it you might make the 30 day mark. As soon as you apply and pay DPS they start your background. They said that is what takes the longest.

I submitted all my paperwork for my CHL about two weeks ago. Today I check the site for progress and it is still stating that they are waiting on me to send the paperwork? Do they update the site accordingly?

That's the way mine was. I just sent it regular mail, took about 2 weeks to show it was received.
