The first available fingerprint appointment was 2/27 in both Greenville and Paris. Did it take y'all 2.5 weeks before you could schedule your appointment?

Longest wait time....for them to have everything marked as "received"

Keith, I when I did mine, I got an appointment in a couple of days. I helped 2 friends, theirs was within a week. Like BT said, try Tyler, Longview and Palistine.

Dear Lord this thread just hit a nerve with me!!!

My DOB was incorrect on my last CHL, so I can't renew online.....

SO. I took my renewal on 11/22/12.
Notorized all paperwork and sent to state of TX on 11/23/12
1/11/13 I call to check status, told that it was processed, expect card in 5-15 days.
2/7/13- Still no CHL, so I call back. Told it was sent to my address and I should have it by now. Tell them I did not receive it. Was told that they would send replacement.

STILL WAITING and have been unable to carry now since 12/31/12.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

Oh, and I still can not check my status online.......
