A little more polishing needed to remove the swirl marks and some haze, but she's close.
Plan is to get her back on the trailer tomorrow and remount the motor.

I read lower in the thread its for getting in the boat but is that all its for?
1) They add floatation to the rear of the hull when the boat is at rest and not on plane. This helps offset the weight of bigger motors on light hulls.
2) They act as a fixed trim tab to aid in getting the boat on plane faster and, if done right, are completely out of the water when the hull is on plane.
Additionally they can be modified to direct water over the prop more efficiently for shallow water running and jet drives on outboards.
