Request a trial. When the officer doesn't show up it will get dismissed. If he does then pay the fine.

Buddy of mine got a ticket... officer put vehicle down as a "Blazer".. It was a GMC Jimmy... Judge threw it out and scolded the officer in front of the whole court. It was City of Houston PD... No refile/nothing...

It usually comes down to a cost benefit analysis. It may cost you more in time off from work to fight it than it's worth. Even if you win, you lose.

In my opinion if he is citing you he needs to get the facts straight. Prosecutor may see things differently though. Good luck!

We are all human and make mistakes time to time. Call the phone number on the ticket and explain your situation. Worst case is they say no and you can decide to pay the fine or take it to court. My guess is there is video showing you and your vehicle making the violation.

If all info about vehicle on a ticket is wrong can I get ticket dismissed. The only info on the whole ticket that is right is my name address and DL#.

I had one dismissed when my name was misspelled, and also had one stand when they put the wrong description of the vehicle.

Hire a Lawyer and be done with it.
