Question for the L.E.Os about tickets.

If all info about vehicle on a ticket is wrong can I get ticket dismissed. The only info on the whole ticket that is right is my name address and DL#.

    Nope.

    Been there, got the t-shirt.

The Leo didn't even know if he wrote the ticket.

You did the crime, you need to do the time(pay the fine).

Fight it and see, worse case scenario is you have to pay it.

No......if the citation is incorrect, the Prosecutor can dismiss the original and the officer/deputy can refile the citation. Statute of limitations is 2 years for that. That's a technicality and rarely happens.

Just take Deferred Adjudication and it says off your record.

Well I'd say fight it if he messed up and was careless doing his job. Then again if you got caught doing something wrong, be a man and own up. My 2 cents. Anyway..take it for what it's worth, which would be half the price lol

I could be wrong but you may want to file a motion of quash to try to get it dismissed.
