Makes sense. This might pre-date a lot of readers, but it was a big deal to me as a kid.

Besides all the crazy coaching success at Gilmer, Traylor got his start at Big Sandy which is the home of David Overstreet. David was also an amazing "once in a generation" talent that escaped Texas only to perish in a gas station crash. Ain't wikipedia cool? Earl Campbell, Billy Sims, Marcus Dupree and David Overstreet all blew my mind back in the day.

The 30 for 30 on Marcus Dupree was really good.

Sims, Dupree, Overstreet and Campbell were awesome. I'm glad I got to see them in my lifetime.

That Dupree 30 for 30 was real good.

As for the Texas/ ND game.
I hope Texas can finally put a complete game on the field and avoid the mental mistakes.

Hooks also produced Jeremiah Trotter. His nephew Terrance Ganaway played down the road in Dekalb. Ganaway was a one man show and fun to watch.

Has there been any of them that don't have controversy around them?
                            Including the current regime.

Another quality win by the #2 team in the country over a very good #7 Ole Miss team....11-5. Great win by #8 LSU over the #1 Gators too, thank you and keep winning.....we'll take that SEC title!!!
