    CFB 2016 - Spring Games

March Madness and College Baseball have kept those of us that enjoy collegiate athletics sufficiently engaged and provided a little respite from the redundancy that can encroach the CFB discussions, but spring games are upon us!

Most major programs have their spring games on one of the next two weekends!

As usual (rather, more so than usual) please check all smack talk at the door and leave that to whichever fanboy site you frequent for your favorite team.

TCU already had their spring game. Offensive line and QB are going to be the biggest issues to get settled between now and fall. Defense is going to be ridiculous! A little undersized, but FAST. It will be a more typical GP defense that everyone is used to seeing.

And the new punter is worse than the old punter.

A fast defense is a must in the big 12. That should bode well for yall. How's depth on defense?

Already lost a promising OT to an ACL.
            Working on finding a center.
            Little depth at RB.
            No A'Shawn.
Hoping QB situation works out in August instead of September.

I like the fact TCU has two promising QB's battling it out. Will only make both of them better. How are the Linebackers looking?

Pretty comfortable 2 deep(3 in most positions except DT) everywhere except corner. Tony James moved to corner from receiver with Julius Lewis already being out for the season. He ran with the 1st team defense in the Spring Game. They really need Texada to come back healthy. If he doesn't, corner could be an issue.

Sawyer and Hill are having a very healthy competition. Hill and Sawyer actually lived together for a good while when Kenny first transferred in. Neither were great in the spring game unfortunately.

Linebackers looked GREAT even without Summers playing or Horton being on campus yet. Sammy Douglas seems to be back to full speed. Linebackers will not be an issue this year, barring injury.

That's pretty funny. I don't understand why Locksley doesn't seem to be getting much of a shot. Is he just behind because he hasn't played a lot of QB?
