I just seen that y'all changed the warrant to 90 days. If when I paid for my cooler it was advertised 7 years, do I still get a 7 year warranty?

    Hi there:
All of our products have moved to a 90 day warranty. If you wish to return your cooler, we are happy to give you a full refund. We moved to a standardized warranty so that it would be consistent with all of our products.
Oh wow even changed it on those already purchased.

Yep. Still not going to let it bother me. For half the price I think I still would buy one even if it didn't have a warranty. Unless the thing just broke in half they would probably say it was user fault or a wearable item or something.

If lids warp they don't hold ice worth a crap though. If they get a batch like that I would hate to be out of coverage and spend the amount of money for yeti or bison and have an rtic. If it happened twice you've then spent more. I'll take one of the others.

I got a email from them about this and they responded all warranties are 90 day regardless of purchase date. Don't see how that can be legal.

Part of what you pay for is customer service. This is true with just about anything. Companies make mistakes. What separates the good ones is how well they take care of problems.

Don't even know the warranty and don't care. Unless I run a forklift through it it's not going anywhere for life.
The Kodi I had outperformed my Yeti.

My old factory rifle has been getting it done for 20+ but that doesn't mean I don't want a custom.....so if y'all all would, go ahead and jump off the band wagon so the ship dates won't be so dang long!!!! Plus I use the ramblers (yeti/rtic) in rotation and don't have a preference

*all of the above are facts but one day that custom will be under the seat of the duramax with some high dollar cooler bouncing around in the back
                  Awesome Jake! Lol !

I emailed Yeti asking where I could buy the strap for my hopper since I lost it. They asked for my address and I had new strap in three days with no questions asked and didn't even ask for my proof of purchase.

That's the sucky part about em. Then to put a big ol advertisement on your window that screams HERE'S ONE!! Invest in something like that and poof....gone.

I just received mine a couple weeks ago. I think I may try to take them up on their offer.

It is legal. They have not violated the penal code. :-) Absolutely BS. . . but legal.

With the length of time they take to handle business, you might want to ask them to adjust that refund for inflation.

Sue them under DTPA. Your damages could be three times what you paid for the knock off and reasonable attorneys fees. Attorneys can be quite unreasonable with their "reasonable" fees. :-)
I emailed RTIC back and mentioned getting together with other TBH'rs along with any other outdoor forums reguarding deceptive trade practices. This is the song they are now signing.

                                Hi Chris:
My deepest apologies. I just started in Customer Service and misunderstood the policy. After speaking with my manager, he informed me that I was incorrect in my response to you and that we will honor the seven year warranty for all coolers purchased prior to the date that we changed the warranty. Again, I'm really sorry for the misinforming you and will send you a 30 oz tumbler free of charge for your troubles.
I hope that you will continue to enjoy your cooler and will enjoy your new tumbler as well.
                                Lisa
