Rest day today. I woke up at 0345 with a terrible headache. Feels like someone is in my head poking the back of my right eyeball. 🤯

Good workout on Back and Bi's yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to a great chest and tricep workout today. I'm only about 3 wks in, but i'm still feeling really good.

I didn't make it this morning. I had a speaking engagement at morning Rotary that took away my gym time. Tomorrow for sure.

Scheduled Active Rest day yesterday. I did manage 17,981 steps. (If I would have realized how close I was to 18k, I would have made another trip around the couch!)

Sprint day today (after 30 minute run.) I think I'm going to revise my schedule and do an upper body workout today, as well.

Yes, thank you. I get those every once in awhile. Especially during cedar, ragweed, grass season. I've been stopped up for nearly a month this year, but it's getting better every day. I hate to do it, but I may have to go back to allergy shots.

I hope it continues to get better.

I decided to do my lifting session after lunch with the intent to do my sprint work this evening. I did a pretty intense upper body workout with the weights, and my Garmin watch/app says I may be “overreaching.”

I feel good, and the lifting was essentially all upper body. I’m trying to decide if the run and sprint work for this evening is a good idea.

Late afternoon Back and Bi session.
going to have to back off on Bi intensity as the one I had injections in last year started feeling alittle off.

Chest and back today with a mix of 5X5 heavy stuff and 20/15/12/10 reps with some weight on the heavy side.

                        Incline BB press/lat pulldown
                        DB chest press/overhead DB pull
                        Pec deck/BB row
Cable curl/incline DB curl (just for giggles)

My watch/Garmin app indicated that I need rest today, but I wanted to get my sprint intervals in (I tend to miss these workouts more than strength or steady state cardio, for some reason). I decided to do a Peter Attia style 4x4 threshold run. I did a 10 minute warmup jog and then four rounds of 4 minute tempo runs at a moderately fast pace (for me), followed by a cool down run and then a long walk.

I want to get in a lower body day in my garage gym, but my watch is screaming at me to reduce my training load, so I may defer that until tomorrow.

I sent you a PM with this question, but after all the moaning and bellyachin' about the website transition, I don't blame you for avoiding your PMs. What watch/app are you using? I have the Garmin Forerunner 235 and I don't care for it. It seems to be good for running, but not most other workouts. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

This goes for anyone that reads this. I need a good fitness watch.
