Rest day today. I woke up at 0345 with a terrible headache. Feels like someone is in my head poking the back of my right eyeball. 🤯

I decided to do my lifting session after lunch with the intent to do my sprint work this evening. I did a pretty intense upper body workout with the weights, and my Garmin watch/app says I may be “overreaching.”
I feel good, and the lifting was essentially all upper body. I’m trying to decide if the run and sprint work for this evening is a good idea.

My watch/Garmin app indicated that I need rest today, but I wanted to get my sprint intervals in (I tend to miss these workouts more than strength or steady state cardio, for some reason). I decided to do a Peter Attia style 4x4 threshold run. I did a 10 minute warmup jog and then four rounds of 4 minute tempo runs at a moderately fast pace (for me), followed by a cool down run and then a long walk.
I want to get in a lower body day in my garage gym, but my watch is screaming at me to reduce my training load, so I may defer that until tomorrow.

I have the Garmin Forerunner 235 and I don't care for it. It seems to be good for running, but not most other workouts. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
This goes for anyone that reads this. I need a good fitness watch.
