    2024 Workout Accountability Thread!

    I did not see a new thread started for 2024 so here it is!

    Missed yesterday for a day trip to Abilene to visit relatives. Got in today for arms and legs. Let's get after it this year!

    Preacher curl, cable pushdown pronated grip/leg extension/prone leg curl
    BB curl/v-bar pushdown/sled leg press/calf raise/standing leg curl
    Spider curl/cable pushdown supinated grip/incline sit up/ab crunch

    A little cardio, abs and shoulder work tomorrow.

    200 6 count burpees

    50 kettle bell swings

    50 kettle bell squats

    Time: 25 minutes

      Chest and back done for today. 20/15/12/10 reps and I'm toast.

      DB chest press/overhead lat pull/incline sit up/knees to chest
      Incline chest press on smith machine/v-handle low row
      Lat pull down neutral grip/DB fly

      Arms and legs tomorrow.

        legs and core on the 2nd…
        shoulders, traps and back yesterday…

          An awesome arm and leg day. Only got 3 movements in, but went significantly heavier for 20/15/12/10 reps. Pretty sure I'm going to pay the price later today. No workout tomorrow as I must leave the house early tomorrow and travel to Catarina to help my son in law get a nursery ready for the new bambino. Have a great weekend!

          Bells of steel squat/BB curl/weighted (chain) dips/hanging leg raise
          Sled leg press/arm blaster curls/overhead rope extension/ab roller
          Cable pushdown supinated grip/over head cable curls/leg extension/ab crunch

              I wound up going to the gym on Friday and got chest and back done. Made it this morning for chest and back to start a new week. 20/15/12/10 reps.

              DB bench press/v-bar low row/incline sit up
              Incline DB bench press/lat pull down
              DB fly flat bench/overhead lat pull

              Arms and legs tomorrow.

                I have not stepped foot in the gym since December 23rd....

                But was in Arizona since 12/31 and officially put in 54 miles and 6500' of elevation on a mule deer hunt so did something at least! Will be back at it tomorrow though!

                          Got a good one in this morning. Sleep is a wonderful thing! Chest and back 20/15/12/10 reps each.

                            Back at it this morning. Just a little info for ya. If you're not logging your macros, you should. My wife has been doing it and I finally got on the bandwagon about 5 days ago. You'll be surprised for sure. I have always eaten what I wanted and thought my macros were ok. Boy, was I wrong! Since I started logging my macros intake I have found that I can't eat enough during the day. Im supposed to get 244 grams protein.244 carbs, 53 grams of fat and total calories is 2438. Yesterday, I was 35 grams short on protein, 61 short on carbs, 11 over on fat and 373 short on calories. All the macros were figured by the Macrosfirst app based on my goals. I'm now eating something 6 times a day and it's pretty tough going trying to cram all that food in. Darn sure took the fun out of eating!

                            Arms and leg day. 20/15/12/10 reps

                            BB curl/leg extension/cable pushdown pronated
                            Preacher curl/Standing leg curl/BB skull crushers
                            Bells of steel squat/hammer curl bar/overhead rope extension
                            Ab crunch 3X20
