Your worst recoil you have had?

Mine was a Ruger M77 All Weather in a 30-06. This gun was brutal. 5 to 6 shots was all I could get trying to sight it in. I took it back to the shop I got it from for them to give it a try. The shop owner called me back in a couple of days and told me he got it a little closer then I had it. He could only get 5 or 6 shots as well. This was about 25 years ago before the lead sled and other shooting rest came into play.

First duck hunt. 8 years old, single shot 12 gauge. Called it the Mule Kicker.

      Ouch...
Reloaded thousands of 30-06, so they were a piece of cake

My shotgun will beat me up pretty bad with duck loads. If I'm shooting poorly, I'll have a purple shoulder and a headache by the time we pick up the decoys.

Single shot .410, 150class had one and my uncle has a couple and they stomped, my dads 870 will give you a good luck and so will my Yildiz.

As far as rifles go, a Winchester Model 70 270, it kicked worse than any gun over ever shot, including the Ruger M77 7mm Rem mag I shot for a while starting when I was 12

My 10 gauge 32"double barrel shooting geese with BBB, had my shooting shoulder against the ground. Made me drop it! Lol

416 Rigby..12yo. The old farts on my dad's lease thought it was comical. But the only correct response to the man who handed it to me and told me to shoot it was "yes sir."

30-30 as a kid...people laugh and then I have them shoot it and those little metal points dig in.

S&W 500 it's a handful to shoot, after about 5 your hand is a little sensitive.

416 rem off the bench resting on san****s and not really holding the gun tight. Thought I had been hit by Holyfield.

9 yrs old, shooting my grandad's single shot 10 gauge. If I would have known the F-word, I would have used it.

Hands down my brothers Steyr Mannlicher 243 Model L double trigger. That thing was mean! and I've comfortably fired 338's and custom big calibres! Needless to say it didn't last long

My first deer rifle, 7mm rem mag. Bought it with my yard money when I was 15yrs old. Picked that rifle because it had a factory butt pad and I thought it wouldn't kick...lol. Sighting it in the scope hit me right between the eyes. Flinching is an understatement and still to this day have problems with it. Now 50yrs later and 100lbs heavier I can shoot one hole groups most days without flinching.
