My 12ga slug gun. I've only shot it once but if I ever have an elephant try to break in, it will be my weapon of choice.

I have a model 700 in 300rum that I bought when I was 16(29 now) because I thought bigger could kill better and deader......before I saved up to have a break milled in the barrel that sob would kick the hell out of me every time. 5-6 shots at paper would make me flinch so bad that I'd give it up for the day. She sits in my safe now, said I'd use her to kill mule deer, but carry my 7mm rem mag every year instead.

8mm Mauser that my dad had sportsidized. Cut down forestock, had weights removed from butt, and cut butt down. Had a slip on recoil pad, that ended up having a tear in it. While deer hunting once, I lost the pad. I decided to shoot it with nothing but a wood stock. No butt plate or pad of any kind. Shooting it like that was a mistake I never made again.

Remington 700 BDL 30-06! It was the first rifle I ever bought myself and I hated it! It got stolen 5 years ago when some piece of **** broke into my house and for the love of God, I hope he kept it fir himself and is hunting with it still! I hope he gets his freaking eye punched out by getting his sorry face too close to the scope when he misses a trophy buck of a lifetime ď

Benelli Nova shooting 3 1/2" mags kicks pretty good. I started using it for turkey huntin when I was around 15 but I never noticed it much unless I was shooting at cans or any target that wasn't alive. Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70 is a heavy hitter on both ends too. But I plan on getting one. I don't mind recoil because I know whatever is getting hit isn't going anywhere. Noise is what I don't like. The worst I've ever shot was a Bond Arms Defender in .410/.45LC. The concussion from that gun made my ear drums feel like they jumped out.Last edited by okrattler; 12-09-2015, 01:57 AM.
