Mine was a Ruger M77 All Weather in a 30-06. This gun was brutal. 5 to 6 shots was all I could get trying to sight it in. I took it back to the shop I got it from for them to give it a try. The shop owner called me back in a couple of days and told me he got it a little closer then I had it. He could only get 5 or 6 shots as well. This was about 25 years ago before the lead sled and other shooting rest came into play.

Single shot .410, 150class had one and my uncle has a couple and they stomped, my dads 870 will give you a good luck and so will my Yildiz.
As far as rifles go, a Winchester Model 70 270, it kicked worse than any gun over ever shot, including the Ruger M77 7mm Rem mag I shot for a while starting when I was 12

My first deer rifle, 7mm rem mag. Bought it with my yard money when I was 15yrs old. Picked that rifle because it had a factory butt pad and I thought it wouldn't kick...lol. Sighting it in the scope hit me right between the eyes. Flinching is an understatement and still to this day have problems with it. Now 50yrs later and 100lbs heavier I can shoot one hole groups most days without flinching.
