Its legal to hunt pigs at night on private property, and some other places. Granger is not one of them.

Dang, now I let this dumbass poacher ruffle my feathers

I think I've made my last trip to Granger for a while... last weekend I went out snagged my cam and feeder only to find out that I didn't even turn my cam on!!! Dangit!!! On top of getting into chiggers and poison ivy both of my last 2 trips with no pig to show for it. LOL unless I decide to sour some corn and post up close to a gate but I'm definetly done walking through grass 3-4'... tall for miles... in The blazing heat... up hill both directions... lol

Think I'm going to become a real bow hunter and make a compound purchase this weekend. Any suggestions on what to get? Can't drop a grand though.

Thanks, dude. Yeah, we both carry water in our packs. I'm carrying a Army MOLLE pack with one 2.5L hydration bladder. It was so dang hot out Saturday I didn't realize I drained the whole thing until I got home. I might have to buy a second one to put in the other compartment on the pack. I definitely do love that pack though.

and just a heads up about an hour ago i was on patrol by the white bass drop off and b4 and after the railroad crossing the hogs are tearing up whoever's corn that is, i mean it has to be at least 30 rows of corn destroyed by hogs in between the railroad crossing and the konarik house right before the drop off steps i believe it's co road 347, i am going to take some pics and post later...someone also ran a hog over in the same spot last week, big 200 pound sow, she was either heading to or transiting back to the river, nothing but corn cobs and pushed over corn stalks now....

Welcome. I would suggest buying online. Go to a proshop and get your measurements and shoot a few bows. Then look online. You can save $$$$ off retail. If you need help finding something let me know. I bought my reezen online

It's awesome you are the ranger. I need your phone number so I can report stuff and have something actually done about it.

I am picking up a Browning Illusion from another TBH member today. Going to start cheap and upgrade later. After all, I haven't shot a compound in 16 years.
