Out today. Missed a lone boar at 20yrds right inside the parkibg area at 8. Also jumped a sounder on the small peninsula. Working my way out in a few.

Yeah I about died Saturday evening hiking in lol. Dang coons popped the lid off my feeder and robbed all my corn... but if I don't see some changes and more consistant pics of hogs on my cam I'm gonna have to stay home in the AC instead

Def understand that!! Fishin has been helping some but just not the same. Wish we could hunt out there at night to get away from the heat!

While you guys are sitting on your rears, me and fellow board member USNAVYCHIEF went out for some hot Granger night action. He dropped this nice porker from about 75 yards out. Well done USNAVYCHIEF !!!!

last year it was by post card. wasnt on the drawn hunts booklet but it should be on the annual public hunt booklet if they do have it.

You can use guns out there?

Well it's confusing to say the least. The signs at the entrances say no guns. Now on the web you can find shotguns are ok for dove and duck only. You cannot hunt hogs with a gun and you cannot hunt at night either. Now that is inside COE land. If your on private outside the fence I guess you would be ok. I have seen a guy come by the dam with a AK and start unloading and another guy bring his son a 12 pack and a shotgun and shoot every moving thing at pecan grove. Seen guys whos land backs up to pecan grove driving around on there side by side. There is no enforcement.

no you CANT use guns out there for pigs. Dove ducks squirrles rabbits ect. and No night hunting unless you are a poacher like ol Austin hunter
