Hopefully that isn;t the case with DeSantis. The one thing that concerns me is that lack of attack from the left.
You don't think the left is attacking Desantis?

Not like they have attacked Trump, although the situations are different. It may just be too early though.

I hope my concerns are unfounded and he is as good as he seems.

He has just been in the game longer, and that always concerns me.

The thing that Trump did that will help himself during a second term, or any "R" that might win, is shine a light on how corrupt the MSM is, how totally corrupt the Democrat party is, and which agencies need a complete overhaul or elimination. If this country gets a Republican president, keeps the House, and wins a super majority in the Senate and really wants to right the ship, start off by cleaning house at the FBI, DOJ, State Department, and Homeland Security. On the second day rescind any foreign aid to every country until we eliminate our deficit and do what is necessary to stop the influx of illegals- immigration is supposed to be for the betterment of the country that people are immigrating to...if you don't have a viable job skill then you don't come in. I am tired of hearing how we are a nation of immigrants- when people came to this country thru Ellis Island, they came for a better life and to assimilate as Americans. Now they just want to come in and take advantage of our welfare system that they haven't paid a dime into. Then start working on entitlement reform- quit paying people not to work.

Heck I(and we all) should have been done wasting our time voting after the last rigged election.

And please save this post. I'm 95% sure Desantis will become a rino within 2-4 years if he becomes POTUS. He for dang sure get far less done than Trump. Democrats will own him pretty fast.
I do not know if not voting is the answer, but I appreciate where you are coming from. I wrote to my congressman, asking him to not vote for the McCarthy-Biden deal, but my "Republican" congressman caters only to the wealthy oil companies that wanted this bill to pass. It is also clear to me that massive cheating is determining the election outcomes. I am just glad that our forebears in the 1700's didn't say, "Oh well. There's nothing we can do."

What I can't understand is why Trump has to try to tear down opponents instead of keep reminding everyone of the good he did before the pandemic hit. The ad by one of the re-election pacs has a commercial attacking DeSantis when he was in Congress pushing a 28% national sales tax. If I remember correctly, eliminating the IRS and annually paying taxes to the federal government would be replaced with a federal sales tax on everything you buy- that way the non-tax paying citizens and illegals help pay for the services they currently get for free...they have a little skin in the game.

It was a 23% tax. Stupid Trump ad doesn't tell whole story.

Trump has been in the game a looong time. He was buying politicians rather than playing one but that's still in the game.

The fact the Romney's / Bush's / Ryan's / Cheney's of the rep party are cheering make my radar go off...no doubt a caged possum could do better than this clown show, but I'm sick of the swamp having the puppet strings.

If Desantis is the nominee he will feel the entire wrath of the communist left media.
Trump is the only person with the balls to go on the offensive with nothing to lose.
They will not let him win so I guess there really is no point.

Not voting = not smart move.

Say Trump wins both the primary and the White House again. What is he going to do to fix all the corruption in both parties? Do folks really believe republican politicians aren’t as corrupt as democrats??

I understand what you're saying. Kinda like the difference between a drug dealer and a drug user, right?

If we have another 2020 or 2022 in ‘24 I’m out. And I mean full on out. I’m done. I’ll worry about me and mine and that’s it. They can burn it to the ground past that.
