What drives them to work so hard for one (bad) thing while they are here?

In a word POWER. If things are centralized then a small minority at the top control all the power, and with power and channeling of money, comes wealth. Even more than the bass turds are skimming now

Moderate Dems are already disliking a lot of the recent moves, and senators/congressmen in shaky dem district will be straight up gone if it continues.

Then, they will be crying about republican overreach the next time Republicans own the house and senate and use the lack of filibuster against them.

Agree. I think this is why they haven’t done it yet. Manchin is warning them that the pendulum swings both ways at some point. But if they do get the nerve to get rid of it, Katie bar the door. They’ll have to go go full blast left (DC statehood, SC packing) to prevent getting mauled by the lack of a filibuster when the reps have power again. They left would have to establish a permanent beachhead. IMO if that filibuster goes, the other dominoes are right behind it. But I just don’t see any of that happening on Biden‘s watch.

Sad to see he can basically get away with doing or not doing, saying or not saying anything. Not to mention LYING about everything! It’s pretty apparent the clowns are running the circus......and there ain’t a **** thing we can do about it. 🤨

Did we not see the same thing November 3rd? It's over, no no pendulum swing

They don’t need the house and senate Republicans to do anything as long as they use EO or reconciliation. That’s all the senile old fart has done. And yes, the cowing be recognizable in four years. So we have 20,000 illegal children in custody right now. Once they get established they can bring their family over. Check mate. Cheap labor for the big corporations and Americans have been booted out by a completely foreign, uneducated voting block. Our sovereignty has to be destroyed so globalization can begin. The population has to be disarmed.

It's funny that the left wants to eat one of their own. Justice Stephen Breyer, spoke out against packing the court. Now the demorats want him to retire.

                I think that’s defeatist thinking.

They want him to retire so they don’t get Ginsberged again. I don’t think it was because he’s against court packing. Sotomeyor is not fond of court packing either but they don’t want her to retire. Why? Because she’s probably not going to die or get sick anytime soon and give a rep president a chance to push the court even further right with an appointment. I think this specific deal with Breyer is about putting young, fresh leftist in the courts existing seats while they have the power to do it, not about increasing the number of justices that can sit on the court.

I'll still vote (for my kids and their kids, etc..), but let's not be naive

The clowns in power keep pushing it & they eventually see what a real takeover of the capital is.

U got it sir, you got it! Won't be happening anytime soon. Replacing ole man Breyer will be the main goal on the SC. It is called politics and slight of hand has always been a part of it......on both sides of the ailse to the detriment of the citizenry. [emoji15]

Same with the DC statehood and getting rid of the filibuster (that one may be real though). Would get interesting if the reps. called his bluff on it though.

                            I’ve edited my response:

So far, not much has happened. He won’t get much done outside of EO’s. This booming market is helping my pockets, nothing else.
