    Stacking the court

First news I've heard on it - the radio news said Biden is putting together "an exploratory committee to expand the Supreme Court". The committee will report in 6 months the pros and cons of expansion and if expanded how many to add.

Folks, this should scare you 10 times more than any gun EO that senile old man has suggested.

This is exactly how Hugo Chavez turned Venezuela into a communist country. Step by step.

Yep. We are in serious trouble with this POS running our country. We are 3 months in.....the country won't be recognizable at the end of 4 years.

This was one of the things he ran on/was elected on. Not surprising.

Can someone help me understand why the machine and this senile old man wants the Venezuela experience so badly?

We are only on this planet for under ~100 years each for the most part.
What drives them to work so hard for one (bad) thing while they are here?

Because nobody has the balls to start picking these folk off like the cartel does. No blood, no peace.

IMO won’t happen. I think this is leveraging to get the Republicans in the house and senate to play ball, or this is what we might do. Same with the DC statehood and getting rid of the filibuster (that one may be real though). Would get interesting if the reps. called his bluff on it though.

Evil people do evil things for their own self gratification. Add Narcissism to that and they are 10 times worse. These kind of people are no different than serial killers.

Need a stacked court for “no amendment to the constitution is absolute.”

And yes, this is very similar to Venezuela, though Biden will never see dictatorial power

That would be a good question for the hordes of illegals streaming here from Central America the last several months... The utopia they claim to all want; Venezuela, is half the distance from them already.

I'm sure this committee will be totally unbiased and neutral.

I seriously doubt this would pass the senate. Senate is full of lawyers, and lawyers in general don't like changes to their profession. I think Dems would be hard pressed to get all 50 dems to agree on this. Manchin would likely be a solid no...

They already regretted obama getting rid of the filibuster for judges, because Trump took full advantage of that. They better be REAL careful getting rid of it altogether. I can’t see them winning the mid-terms the way they’re going. Moderate Dems are already disliking a lot of the recent moves, and senators/congressmen in shaky dem district will be straight up gone if it continues.

Then, they will be crying about republican overreach the next time Republicans own the house and senate and use the lack of filibuster against them.
