Well it is election season so Im sure the lefties will be firing up PACE agin. This thread is actually unbelievable that people vote for amendments without any research or who proposed the amendment and why. I voted aginst most of them as well due to why they were propsed. Seems the majority hear an ad on water conservation (false) or electric grid infrastructure (false) or better yet research funding for colleges (false) and feel they need to vote yes without research8ing anything.

These threads really should open peoples eyes on how these socilaist things get passed. They walk among us.

By your posts, it appears your allegation of wanting to help others seems a bit...mistaken. You seem more concerned with your financial situation and making sure others pay you more money for your career choice. Congrats on the BS. Maybe you can move on to a better career with a more advanced degree. You could also utilize the option of working your way up to a leadership position or start your own company. The US, and Texas, is not a democracy. But semantics and whatnot.

These amendments are akin to the ballot box biology we see in Colorado with wolves. Actual biologists opinions be ****ed, let's let every Tom, ****, and Harry have a say in wildlife management.

That said, people come on here to complain about their neighbors, rather than actually talk to their neighbors, go to a town hall meeting, a school board meeting, or any ACTUAL EVENT where they could make a difference. And then come up with 20 excuses why they can't make it. Heaven forbid a football game is the same night as a city counsel meeting.

Back in the day a common deal was if you didn't vote don't complain. Back then some federal jackboot wouldn't come raiding your house for having a different opinion. Sounds like we don't have to move to China. China has moved here.

As far as the amendments go. My main question happens to be. Do the majority of the people even know what they voted for? It's kind of unusual having 13 of 14 of anything pass muster. Why does every amendment have to be a word salad that seems to have been authored by Biden or Feddermann. Why can't they be listed in plain English that the average person could understand? Probably because they wouldn't pass is my only guess.
