Well, my wife is not an educator…she’s in sales. What I find ironic is that I never attacked anyone or mentioned ANYTHING about myself or my family wanting more pay or a “handout” as I have repeatedly been accused of. I shouldn’t have gotten upset, but I will only take being attacked so much before I say enough…apparently, that makes me an instigator…whatever.

I ask because if you only learned about Proud boys, far right extremists, etc. without living during this time (and with social media) you would have a totally different view of them...and would be completely wrong.

Anyone complaining about the pay and benefits of the career they chose need only to change careers to the one that has what they are looking for. I am a fireman who chose this after deciding climbing poles and diging ditches didn't produce the income I wanted. I gave up on being a business man after realizing I didn't know how to do that. I certainly don't expect tax payers to exceed my expectations for me. I do better than I ever expected and I appreciate what I do get. If I didn't, I'd move to something else.

Or better yet Fly - Maybe people should stop and actually research the career they think they want to enter BEFORE spending years and money on a degree...And/or years working in that career before figuring out what it pays.
