A groundhog in Tennessee around 1976. He came down a deer trail at about 10 yards and didn't stand a chance!

Mine was a doe in Wimberly - 1988. Mary's was a nice eight point at the same place in Wimberly in 2006.

Small young 10-pt WT at 21yds in Llano county. I nearly fell out of the ladder stand I was so excited. I hit him a little far back and took him nearly 2 hours to expire.

First bow killed. I was 15 feet up in a tree. Onida bottom limb hit me in the knee when I released and the bow flew out of my hand and was killed on impact. "Oh" That's not what you were asking was it

First one was a doe, two years ago on the same ranch I'm on now. Stuck her at about 15 yds and she circled my tree and did the wobble dance right in front of me at about 20 ft. Been hooked ever since, wondering what took me so long to try with a bow.

                            1st Bowkill?

A huge Hog down in Hebronville in 2001! She was with a huge pack of hogs and I was perched in a very short tripod back in some mesquite. I drew the Bear bow back and let that Easton 2216 fly! She ran off, fell over but the rest of the pigs started circling her, snorting etc...In other words....i was stuck and couldn't get down! Luckily, I was picked up at dark and called just about everyone I knew to tell them that I had scored as a bowhunter . We had porkcops for months!

one i will never forget. it was back when i was in junior high, back when it used to actually snow in northeast texas. frozen ground, in the snow, doublelunged a cottontail rabbit with my bear recurve and cedar arrows tipped with the old 2blade bear razorhead. shot was about 20 yards. thought i missed as the rabbit ran off, but he went about 20 yards and fell over kicking in the snow.
