6pt buck when I was 21 years old. In Seguin TX. Shot him 3 times. Back then didnt have the patience or knowlage to wait til he expired. I was stalking and shot him then kept tracking him and shooting. Not much meat left. LOL. But I got him.

A four point after 4 years or trying with no luck. I shot him once high through the back. A few weeks later I saw the same deer with a broadhead scare on his back. Got him the second time.

WT doe at about 25 yards in 1994. Hit it right sqare in the back ham but hit a good vien and laid down and died. My grandpaw and dad were up in the highrack watching me as I stalked her, and then laughing at the shot. I heard the old "engine jo" story for a long time. Didn't try bow hunting again until 2 years ago. Glad I got back into it.

Last November, Red River County huntin' a trail that bordered the Red. My shot took out a lung but missed the heart. Even after waiting for an hour before tracking him, I ended up jumping him up and he went over a mile in the thick river bottoms before he bled out. It was an experience I'll never forget especially because I had to drag that sucker back that whole mile since we couldn't even get a four-wheeler to it!

Hog at the Circle T bowhunting ranch. Spot and Stalk. He was sleeping. I hit the snooze button on him. One lung and spine. 2008
