Figured you'd be in the loop more than the waterhead on FB

I saw pictures a few years ago of a brand new Majek Extreme dry docked in Mud Cut by San Louis Pass. On low water he was going straight through the cut not realizing the channel( at the time) made a jag to the left behind a cabin. North wind kicked in and it turned to a desert where he was. It took about 3 or 4 days to get enough water back to get close enough to get him out.

I may have been on a 21 gulf coast that did that in the pass years ago. I was merely a passenger.

We carried valuables to the beach, set the anchor and waited for the tide. After that each time I ran the pass it was just enough throttle to beat the current. San Luis changes daily I think

Anything east if cold pass cabins was air boat, rfl or dargel country to me

Yeah I had a friend years ago that bought a 13 foot Mowdy Bay Scooter. Everything he did was wide open. Dry docked it east of Bird Island on a flat with an out going tide. It was 3:00 pm on Sunday and didn’t get it floating until 8:00 am Monday morning. Unfortunately no lessons were ever learned.

I may have missed Blind Pass in Aransas Bay in my buddy's brand new shallow sport one time.

I did come into pass cavallo from the surf in POC one time. I had been following this rooster shooting go fast boat. Once he got inside he poured the coals to it and i lost him so I decided to wing it. I went east and should have gone west. Next thing I know a line of bait slinging waders was looking at me like I was crazy. I looked down and could see the bottom. I began to raise the motor and come off plane just as the motor skeg started to tick the sand.

I did what any lost pro would do. Dropped the power pole and got out and started casting like I knew where I was. My wife was like, I thought we was going to the truck???

Coming in “Hot” normally means leaving out “ Cold”. And wet. LOL

Son and I had a good trip to POC last weekend. Found the reds on an incoming tide on Sunday.
