Just dropped 5k on a transmission for my Chevy 3/4 ton. Shop said they do a lot of them. Wishing I had gone with the f250

All the others our fleet, the same year model and motor do the same.
Ford has as fix they will sell you. It literally is a new dipstick with new markings on it. I cannot make this stuff up.
Search F150 burning oil……it’s not a big secret.
Exact reason I only had a 2018 F-150 for a year to the date…she been gone!

Scariest thing I’ve ever been involved with behind the wheel.
Absolutely unacceptable Ford continues to build these things knowing this issue

I wish it got the mileage these guys are posting. I ran it to Mexico and back the other day. Cruise set on 75 and got 15. The 6.7 is getting almost 20 doin that.

I did the work truck cause I thought there was no way a 1/2 ton 4x4 with a camper and a 5.3 would average 14. The 6.2 we had was better than that.
In the end if mileage is your concern with a 3/4 anything tow vehicle, you might as well stick with a John boat and a tent
