I’ve found that micro-adjusting throw times makes a big difference. If I don’t, I spend more time not seeing deer than is absolutely necessary. It helps to know exactly how long I have to spend in the blind before I can go watch football or drink beer around the fire.

I adjust my feeder time every 3 weeks or so from September thru November only due to the shortening of the day.

Winner! Y'all please look at the sunrise/sunset tables for your area through the "time change". Then, we will never have this discussion again. You can't fix ignorance.

Had a feeder set for 2am, so we could hunt hogs. Forgot to adjust it and it spun for 1 hour and 5 seconds... I'll never do that again.

I tried the pea gravel. Not much difference between that and corn.
But where it really shines is when all of the lease members started road feeding it.We don't see any more deer than we did but we have some super nice roads now!!!

The exact time, time changes is 2:00 AM. I always change it then and just sit in the stand until hunting time.
