How many pics are you getting off that 1gb?

Usually 20 or so a day. Never got any messages saying I was getting close to the 1gb

Call Covert first and see if they are still offering this upgrade option. Yes you can cancel the plan at any time as it is month to month.

Then do the prepaid option and never look back

The upgrade was to go from 2g to 3G. I have that already. Only difference in the camera I have and the 2015 is the 2015 is strictly data and the one I have will work off of both data and mms

I got the same message from AT&T...Had my wife go to the AT&T in San Marcos and they actually had a guy that knew all about Covert cams. He said yeah that is wrong presto charges gone.

I will see if I get another message before I go down to the store.

Same here - camera quit sending pic to my phone. On phone with AT&T for 1.5 hours and was finally told my plan didn't have data and needed it now. I asked why has it been working fine for 2 years - was told the system just caught up to it and shut the transmitting off. Local AT&T rep said that's bull and is checking into it.

If your camera will run off the $25/1GB/90day plan, I'd just do that and scrap doing the camera as an extra line. Tax and all it's $25.06 for the plan. Not sure why the tax is only .06, but it is.

You can get roughly 165 pics per day and stay within your data limit. No bad for $8.35/month.

I got the charges removed but was wondering if they will come back or not.

I am afraid you are wrong. I have had both the Covert Black OPS and the Covert Code Black.. yes both are 3G but the new Code Black will only run on a prepaid account I believe.

Therefore eliminating these problems. The Code Black will ONLY run on a prepaid account, therefore eliminating any problems such as your own. The Black OPS was mainly going thru a texting plan on your current phone plan.

On the prepaid account once it runs out that's it, you have to go buy another plan for 3 months. They cant charge you extra fees or charges as it is prepaid

This is the route I will probably end up going.

You can only go this route with the 2015 Code Black and not the 2014 Black OPS

Which one do you have?

Pay the $25 and upgrade to a brand new 2015 camera with full warranty

Plus its cheaper per month
