I doubt it ever happens, but some simply don't want to understand how it works.

I think I've watched three games on that channel this season. Doesn't interest me otherwise.

I am an aggie who doesn't think they can prevent Texas from joining in the sec, but I also don't think Texas can get into any league and do as they wish when they wish, and how they wish like most longhorn fans think they can. Not nearly as powerful as many think.

Broad brush strokes, I promise that we don't think that way. If Texas were to join the SEC for some reason, they would be the new ***** just like every other team that joined after it was founded. I don't see Texas ever seeking to join the SEC.

Not you, but many do. Same as some Aggies thinking they could block it. It happens

We just went through a whole discussion about TV markets and how the money dictates these moves. When you are talking about the #1 Brand in College Football and the money that follows that brand, it is more powerful than you think or want to believe.

The SEC got the second biggest fish in Texas when they added A&M. What makes you think the biggest fish (Texas) is not attractive to all other conferences? Why did the SEC add A&M?

Not taking that bait...Vandy will run it down the throat of A&M. We have the uncanny ability to make everyone's offense look good, except for our own.

Murray needs to sit on the bench and learn. Allen needs to be starting this game and will see the field even if Murray starts.

There is no reason A&M shouldn't win this game because of the talent that is taking the field. Then again, if you have been an Aggie for any length of time you know that you've made that statement more times than you'd like to count only to be disappointed once again. That statement is always followed by, "Next year will be the year...".

As powerful as anyone out there, but that has nothing to do with it and I don't know any UT fans that think they can do whatever they want. In any negotiation there are concessions made by both sides. We didn't and don't get to do whatever we want in the Big12. Would be the same in any other conference.

What did I say that was not correct? I am not a chest thumper as I back up my statements with actual facts / truths.

Since your talking about a Texas team leaving the big 12 make it Tech!! That way I could go to Lubbock and cheer for LSU and fling tortillas at the same time!! I'm gonna go do that someday. Gonna be in a stand for this weeks game but hopefully they can right the ship this week.

He's right. You made it sound like we/Texas could dictate what occurred once we were in a conference other than the Big 12.

I am strictly talking about the opportunity for Texas to join another conference.

I think it is silly to suggest Texas getting to do whatever, whenever they want to do in a conference. That is just what Aggies want to believe. Please name a move that Texas wanted and the rest of the Big 12 did not want to do, but they did it anyway cause Texas said so?
