I haven't read all of this but here is my take on the ags since many non-ags seem to be interested
I think we squeak out a win by pounding the ball with Carson. I think Kyler starts, but Allen finishes. I kind of hope for this actually. I think Allen is the better QB. Murray isn't ready. I also think that if Murray stinks it up again and leaves the door open, Allen starts against LSU and in the bowl game. This may allow the ags to go into the offseason with a wide open race at QB. I think this is best case scenario as it would possibly prevent a transfer from happening as both guys will be confident in themselves to win the job.
What I see our main issue is lack of offensive identity. Defense will improve, but who are we on offense? A spread team, or a Power running team. We line up in both but not really a power run game as our linemen don't put their hand in the dirt, and we put a semi fullback in the backfield but not in a postion to take a handoff. This forces Carson to basically beat his defender on every play assuming each person has a defender responsible for them. Carson can't make guys miss. He's a thumper. This results in too many short yardage or no gains. If we want to be a power run game, put two backs in the backfield that require the LB to have to be responsible for each of them as a run threat rather than just one. Put your hand in the dirt and put a TE on the line of scrimmage.
If you aren't willing to do that, give me 5 WR or 4 wr, and one RB, and spread/air it out.
Just find an identity and own it. This offensive formation with Smith in the backfield just doesn't work.

I still think Murray starts.

It's been strange to see how it's been handled it from the outside. Sumlin keeps preaching it's an open competition and it's based on practice. He's said Kyle is fine. I know there's the media / fan answer and then there is inside the program but it just seems been handled wrong from the outside looking in. It seems they have no clue who they should start and they creates division / controversy with players, media, and fans. It's an interesting turn of events going from QBU with two 5 Stars (as we were constantly reminded be the Aggie TBH faithful) to the mess it is right now.
I was interested to hear what Sumlin had to say today so thanks for posting it.

I think if that happens it is a deal between Strong, Miami, and Texas to all get what they want and a win-win for all parties. This is assuming Texas wants Strong out which I don't think they do after season two.

I still think Murray starts but I don't have any inside info.
I also assume a QB offer for 2016 goes out at some point.
Thanks for the reply. I would agree with the 2016 QB offer. I would think Allen has a higher transfer probability rate than Murray since he's a legacy.
