Isn't Spav considered a good recruiter? Do y'all lose anybody if he is gone?

My gut tells me it's not a huge risk to let him go especially since there is not a QB committed.

And the other question. Are y'all still good at QB or do y'all try to go get one for the 2016 class?

Winning programs matter. Texas is a program that can win 6 ball games and end up with a Top 10 class that is best in the state. Recruits know that Texas will be back so it doesn't affect Texas like it would other schools that don't have the tradition. The question was asked about Texas not recruiting in general.

Exactly, winning is the difference in a top 10 vs a top 2-3 class at the traditional powers. See Alabama. They were not getting the top class EVERY year before the National Titles started piling up.

There's an athlete(two way guy) that will probably decommit from TCU because he wants to play RB. TCU has committed him mainly as a LB. A&M is his other school of interest

A&M has two RB's committed already so I doubt they take another RB.

He will be there to be taken for whoever decides to let him play RB. I hope TCU is smart about it. If not, it will be the 3rd 4 star guy they have lost to this point(which everyone kinda expects to happen).

Yep. We are done at RB. Making a big push now for the big Silsbee OL Hudson. From what I understand he had a tremendous visit last week and he and Sumlin talking directly. Still a long ways to go getting him away from Baylor. But there is plenty of time to NSD.

Tyler Brown(OL) just changed his commitment from TCU to Oklahoma State.

Man, TCU commits dropping like flies. One of the Horn recruiting guys says he has a juicy story about the Okafor recruitment re:TCU that he'll share after signing day. Wonder if these decommits are related to that.
