      1/2" above the green line.
Through the "spinous process" It will make a loud crack but not a solid spine shot.

.... Read what he quoted in his post. I think you missed his sarcasm.

Josh, I let him walk twice already today.....did you want me to kill him? I figured you would want revenge LOL. I just saw him again not 30 minutes ago. Just trolling around this front pasture. Also, I'll send more pictures of entrance and exit later today.

Hit no vitals but also that area is protected by the shoulder blade.

No mans land. He's gonna be healthy in a few months, assuming it doesn't get infected.

From that picture I don't see how you didn't spine him. I know that as the spine gets closer to the neck it curves downward and is lower than you might think.

My gut feeling is that he will live unless you or someone else shoots him again.

please tell me this is a joke post. it is impossible to hit below the spine and above the lungs. however, you can shoot a deer in the lungs and have them live. it happens. but, rarely. the vast, vast, vast majority of high hits up front are over the spine through the backstrap and neck area which are not fatal unless they get infected.
