Had a bad experience with R&C Archery

3 out of 3 bad expereinces for me at R&C. Guys are just rude. Have not and will not ever spend another dime in there. I have never had such bad retail experiences.

This makes me very thankful to be a short drive away from On Target Archery. When I walk in the door I get greeted with, "Hi Greg, how's it going", or some such. I'm always made to feel welcome.

Man, you said it. We're fortunate to have such a good shop right here locally.

Was Greenheadless caught in a lie?. He didn't say West Houston broke the sights. I took it as one of the guys now working at West Houston was the guy from Viking that broke his sight. Hmmmmm. Is this what everybody is butthurt about?

It read to me like he accused someone at WH of breaking his sight. Then the other post was revived where he had accused another shop if the same thing.

This is exactly how I read it. Boonerorbust must be Rick. Either way, from what I've read, there are 3 shops down there that I would never go to.

I guess I'm the only one but I can see where he would not care to cut arrows that you bought somewhere else.

I would have been embarrassed to go into a store and ask them to work on something I had just saved a dollar on buying it somewhwere else.

Why would he care where he bought the arrows from? He went in there to spend money to get his arrows cut so why does it matter where he got the arrows. I have taken arrows (that were given to me) in to get them cut and veined at our local archery shop an they were nothing but nice to me. I deal with all kinds of people and I can tell you that everyone's money is they same I'm just happy to take it

There are other people in there besides Rick. I know Rick and asked him about this story. He had a totally different version which wasn't surprising.

Looks like all was cleared up. You felt Rick broke your sight when he worked at Viking so you won't do business with West Houston now.

For the record his version is he showed you how to adjust the plastic site and you did the rest from there. The fact that he needed to show you hot to adjust the site told me all I needed to know

Just thought I would stir the pot again for anoyone bored in a doctors office
