He has been in business for a long time maybe twenty or thirty years. He has good days and bad days more bad than good. I live between Clute and Port Lavaca. So I now go to Port Lavaca to J&J lot better people to deal with.

Had a bad experience with R&C Archery

I'm surprised he is still in business with that kind of customer manner. No way would I drop a dime in that dump.

He runs it like you need him.... Not the other way around.

I bought some arrows online on a one time great sale. CCR was nice enough to cut them for a fee. I was happy to pay it.

You should have known that the R and C stands for Rude and Crude.
I like to support our local bow shop and don't mind paying a tad more. By the sound of it, the owner of R and C needs a hug. how about lets all just go by there and just him a big ol hug. So much anger will eventually kill the soul.

He's been in business forever. I don't know how he is still in business, but he is. I had a problem with them, for basically the same type of deal, and nearly came to blows with the son. I took my business to Santa Fe now, and advise everyone I know to do the same. He used to not be that way, my grandfather has been using that shop for nearly 20 years. I think the only reason he is still in business, is because the other nearest archery shop is 45 minutes away.

I agree that Bow Zone has good customer service and attitude. However, it was 180 degrees from that when I was at the sister shop on I-10 West. I won't go to that one anymore.

Bowzone in North Houston is a top notch shop. I'm about upgrade my Xbow and will give those guys my business over the online route. I plan to get a top of the line Excalibur from them soon. I don't mind paying a little extra for good customer service and to support a small local merchant. At the same time, if I buy something online and bring it to them for work I'd expect to be charged a fair amount for them to do the work. And I do support charging a slightly higher rate if I did not buy the product from them, but in reality its they are charging less for the work if the product was bought frpm them. Politicians are ruining our economy. The best way we have to try and make things better is to by local and support local merchants.

Had the same experience there. Cried about people buying online. What I don't understand is if a person sees where or what they are losing money to why not fix it. No reason they can't move product online. Oh and fix the attitude!
