had a great trip after the Easter crowd cleaned out, Lots of sub 15 inch trout you gotta get past to catch some fish , fun long weekend

Well fellas not a bad morning at all, hit my honey hole spot in port bay. I launched around 715am not even 200yrds away from the launch I noticed finger mullet being chased, so I made my way that direction staked out my kayak put my wading vest on and slowly got into position with the wind which was out of the SE 15 to 20. I started throwing the bone yo-zuri and whamm 23 1/2 in red (1 down) threw again whammm 26 3/4 (2 down) , I would then catch two oversized reds over 30 released and then whammm red launched out the water get him close to me to take a pic and well the topwater came out of his mouth and swam away would have been my limit. They were super aggressive this morning , fishing knee deep water , mixture of grass potholes, mud and shell. I searched for some trout but no bites.
