Salty H20 Fishing 2025 !!

Friend of mine did that to a reel I had just cleaned for him, 1st cast !!!! Even after I told him to reset everything & be careful with it. 12 Lb. test Mono, took about an hour back at the house with that one but didn't have to cut it. I should have cut it & put braid on LOL.

Fish should be easy to find with the cold, they'll all be piled into one or two spots lol.

I'm with you though, maybe I'm getting old or something but I'm not feeling terribly excited to be out in the cold. I'm kinda done with it at least until summer roasts me back into shape. Passed on last weekend and passing on this weekend again even though I'm bored out of my mind at home. I guess it's good I'm not spending my tax money on fuel and beer though.

You’re right on the fish…the house and warmth sure beat the rain and cold and wind this weekend. I’m sure I’ll be wishing the heat away in short order, too!

Took the spool out, a pair of small scissors, and got to cutting. No idea how, or what happened. Ol Lady ain’t to shabby of a fisher lady.

Went this afternoon. Been fishing but have not got on them good. Caught 4 trout today 21-25 inch fish and one slot red. It was good because I’ve been struggling lately. Seems all my spots are invaded by 12-16 inch fish.

Nice pics, nice and clear and great healthy looking fish. My lens is always cloudy or wet or gummed up or my phone is a mile away lol.

I was supposed to be down on the coast yesterday but knee blew out and got an appointment tomorrow to break the news. We'll see if it'll be this weekend or this year when I get back down.

Good to see some catching on here! Friend and I bought the POC Fishing Center last fall and we’re slowly making some improvements that we hope people will like, come give us a holler if you’re in POC.
