Goodness gracious glen!!! Way to go!!!
finally got a day off with the wind blowing less than 20. Slept in as my schedule has been all over the place the last week.
22 trout, with 9 in the slot, and 3 flounder. Fished from 0915-1115. Tide falling, green water, very low tide. Can’t wait for there to actually be water in the bay so I can catch some fish.

Had my old boss and preacher last three days and they both live away from coast and wanted fish to take home. 3 days - 45 convicts- about 25 drum - and 20 or so trout. I’d mostly just throw plastic on the front while they threw shrimp off the back. I even caught a slick trout.

Been hearing some good reports from my bank area, but they’re locking the gate for the next week due to some heavy machinery being brought in. I rarely go out there in the evenings, but figured I’d give it a shot. It’s evenings like these I really hate the 3-fish limit. We kept 6 nice ones and had to throw back 5 or 6 more keepers. The conditions weren’t ideal, but the bite was steady and we would catch one every 5-10 minutes.2 Photos

Got my but handed to me today.
Initially woke up about 0730 and saw it was only drizzling at the house. Pulled up the radar and saw a window to try and get wet. Well, the boss had other plans for me, so I didn’t get out the house till 0945.
First cast about 10, outgoing tide, 25 mph wind, trout green water, about 1.5’ higher than it was yesterday and rough!
8 trout, 2 kept, plus 1 just over 20”. Missed quite a few bites with the wind blowing my line one way, and tide going the opposite.
Not sure who told me it’d be a good idea to wet wade today, I was freezing. With the wind and cooler water temps, never mind it was a lot higher than yesterday. Amateur hour over here.

Got out Saturday and was catching em pretty good. The trout were all 17-18''. I was throwing them back and I sent a picture of one to my wife and she wanted me to keep a couple for dinner this week. I guess they know when you're going to keep em, they got hard to catch then. It took an hour to catch these two losers, lol.
