Just tell the Doc you need at least 3... Put one behind the ear a full 24 hours to 36 hours before the planned departure, and start to hydrate really well... (Trans-Derm-Sop) scopolimine... not sure on the spelling, but that's it... "the patch"... When I had my offshore boat, I had a regular fishing buddy that, no matter what, he got sick... Seen it calm enough we could run offshore at 45-50 mph, hook up to a rig or drift, he'd be chumming within 15 minutes until we started running again... Got the patch, and never had a problem again after a misapplication the firs time out... He put the patch behind his ear with the wrong side facing his skin!! The real trick is, put it on WELL in advance of your trip... The morning you leave, even the night before won't give you the protection you need... Minimum 24 hours in advance... This trip is long enough that half way through the trip, apply a second one to the other ear and remove the first one. In my later years, I've had "issues" with motion sickness and this procedure works well for me.
There is nothing in the world that gives me cotton mouth like the patch does. It's horrible!!! Also seems to give indigestion. I'm taking some hard candy & gum this year to combat it. Like you said, I'm putting one on 2 days before the trip to get over the side effects and will then apply a fresh one the night before we leave. I was nowhere near 100% the first night last year, but was fine the 2nd. My goal this year is to boat all 3 of my fish solo!!

My Slammer arrived today, but I went with the 6500 because I'm small and weak. 80lb braid arrived today, too. Boys, gather up your toys...

Think the DE gets back from a 56 hour today sometime. It'll be here before you know it. Monday for some of these losers!

Here’s the live feed from the docks. The West Docks is where the DE will be arriving. Usually comes in around noon or a bit before.

Decent haul, but mostly AJ's. I only counted 13-14 YFT. Maybe some schools of tuna will move into the rigs in the next couple of days. Weather forecast shows 20-25 mph winds and 7'-9' seas Mon-Tue so we're going to get tossed around. Hoping that changes in our favor before Monday morning, but we're going regardless!

From what I am seeing it’s going to be pretty rough….if you get seasick at all you better get the patch! I have never been seasick but I got them for this trip just in case.

5-6 footers most of the trip.
