    You should be perfectly fine.

As mentioned if you stay inside too much that may get to you. But if you've been out before and have not gotten sick you should do fine.

As of now the boat is full

There is a standby list if anyone is interested in getting on that

        Looking forward to the trip

One side note... For you newcomers who've never been before, all you have to do to be 100% successful is just let the experienced guys and especially the deck hands help you. Let them rig your tackle, and do exactly like they tell you... I've never seen a crew that is so bent on seeing you (and consequetly the boat) be successful! Capt. Timmy loves killin' tuna with a passion! The deck hands will be right in there fishing beside you. If they hook a fish, they'll pass the rod off to someone... TAKE IT! Get ready to get your string pulled like you've never had it pulled before!!!

This looks like it will be an awesome trip. Been wanting to do one, never works out. Maybe someday.

Is there a list we can get on to assist with "disposing" of the meat some of you all might not be able to eat?

Just be at the docks when the boat comes in ready to help clean fish. I'm sure you'll leave with plenty. If nothing else take a few YFT heads as there's lots of meat on them suckers also.

Hold on a minute! Don't go blowing up my plan to get a monopoly on the fish heads!

Just tell the Doc you need at least 3... Put one behind the ear a full 24 hours to 36 hours before the planned departure, and start to hydrate really well... (Trans-Derm-Sop) scopolimine... not sure on the spelling, but that's it... "the patch"... When I had my offshore boat, I had a regular fishing buddy that, no matter what, he got sick... Seen it calm enough we could run offshore at 45-50 mph, hook up to a rig or drift, he'd be chumming within 15 minutes until we started running again... Got the patch, and never had a problem again after a misapplication the firs time out... He put the patch behind his ear with the wrong side facing his skin!! The real trick is, put it on WELL in advance of your trip... The morning you leave, even the night before won't give you the protection you need... Minimum 24 hours in advance... This trip is long enough that half way through the trip, apply a second one to the other ear and remove the first one. In my later years, I've had "issues" with motion sickness and this procedure works well for me.
I sure wish I could try this and it be the solution to my seasickness. Saltwater fishing is my true passion and I am scared to book all kinds of trips because of the vomiting.

Well, if I were you, I'd go on one of those 8-hour trips and try the patch. Other than the patch gives you a very dry mouth, I know of no other side effect, but check with you doc first.
The other thing is, and it can be a biggie is the whole mental thing... That will take some work on your part to fix that. Just have confidence that the patch will work and you've got 9/10 of the battle won!! The other very important thing to remember is to put it on the day before you leave. It is a slow reacting absorption medication and needs a good 18 hours to get fully absorbed into your body enough to combat severe motion sickness.
                      Good luck!

I actually learned about this patch from a friend of mine back when I had my offshore boat who loved to fish offshore, but like you, he'd get seasick on a rough day on the lake, couldn't ride in a car and read without getting sick unless he was driving. He got the patch and went offshore with me untold times without further problems.

My deposits paid and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone! I’ve been jealous of this trip every year I see it posted.

If anyone needs to store coolers or anything while we’re out, our house is just a couple blocks away from the dock.

Well dang Charlie, didn't realize you were not on this trip.

                          Gonna miss ya!

This is one of those things you do once and want to do again and again

Son and SIL went last year, both will have little ones by the time we go this year so they are sitting out.

And they were great to have on the trip!! Good kids! Give them both my congratulations and well wishes!

Doug, Glen and I all three have scheduling conflicts, and believe it or not, none is deer hunting related! Gonna miss that first weekend in November hunt too! I hope you guys fill all the boxes again!

Mike, when you book ask them for a first floor room, otherwise you'll have to carry your stuff upstairs... I made that mistake last year... didn't ask... Definitely do not leave your valuables/gear in your vehicle
