The new program called for a rest day today, but I decided against that. Chest and back today to work out the soreness form Monday's workout.

          Bench press 5X6
          T-bar row 5X8
          Incline bench 5X8
          BB row supinated 5X8
          Incline DB fly 5X8
          Lat pulldown 5X8

I think the new program calls for shoulders and arms tomorrow.

"Training Readiness" was a 2 yesterday, according to Garmin. I did an easy 30 minute run just before dark. TR was 10 this morning and Garmin recommends "Rest" again. My body feels pretty good, though, so I'll probably go ahead and stick with my lifting schedule this evening.

I’ve been neglecting my sprint/threshold/HIIT training, and that’s something I previously said I want to prioritize.

I went to the track yesterday mid-afternoon and, after a warmup, ran 5x400s and 1 600 at >threshold pace.

I made it in this morning, but had to scale back my workout substantially. I got very dizzy during my warm up on decline bench and again on incline bench. I felt really good going in, so I can't figure out what the problem was. I wound up doing very little this morning. I hope to be back at it on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Do you typically have low blood pressure? Mine is typically 112/75ish. I frequently get a little light headed when I stand up quickly out of a deep squat. I don't usually have issues with most lifts, but I could see a potential case with getting up after a decline bench. Are you taking any PWO? Were you properly hydrated? Hopefully it's not a persistent issue for you.

My blood pressure is not typically low. It's on the borderline high side actually. Usually runs about 140/83. I'm pretty sure I'm adequately hydrated. Urine is clear and I do take a PWO, but I didn't do anything different this morning than I do any other workout day. It only seems to hit me when I lay my head back. I tried two sets of 6 with some 77# DB's and each time on rep Uncategorized Groups the ceiling would start spinning. It did the same thing when I moved to incline BB using the smith machine. I finally just gave up on anything where I had to lay my head back.
