I'm looking for something to be able to spot game at pretty good distances. And only buy once or be able to get it fixed no matter what happened.

Swarovski and Zeiss. Leica makes good glass but I won't buy due entirely to the fact that they can be sketchy on warranty and customer service.
Go Swarovski. It is the gold standard that everyone else is measured by. Great product. Great customer service. Great resell.

As long as you buy new. Second hand user is still screwed with Leica. Not so with Swarovski.
Just to reiterate, Leica makes a bad *** product. I would just prefer that they stand by their stuff no matter who owns it.

Not trying to be argumentative but Vortex changed the lower and mid level warranty/customer service game for a few companies. But it didn't have an effect on Swarovski or Zeiss as they handled warranty/customer service the right way long before Vortex was ever even an idea. Hell, Leupold did as well.
Vortex imports an ok product.
Vortex does warranty and customer service well.
Vortex markets very well. That is the best thing they do.

Looked into the diffrent options today. Swaros are to expensive for me and the buyers guide I looked at said limited warranty " limited to manufacturer and parts malfunction". Zeiss had a limited warranty same as above, but transferable. Vortex has a has a no questions asked no receipt needed only way it's not honored is theft or loss. That seems like a lot better warranty than the others. I think I'm going to get vortex. Even though it may not be the best glass. It seems to be really really good glass with the absolute best warranty that I can always get fixed. One pair of binoculars for life. As long as they are in business I guess lol.

Y'all quit that sheet!!! Sound like a bunch of freak'n Roksliders bitching about the finer points of barreling and aberration across the dang visual scale of a fly anus in the first 10 minutes of daylight on the third Tuesday of the second rifle season on the odd years.
Swaro is fantastic glass, Leica has better color contrast but not as clear in the glass that I have been able to look through. And Vortex has great freak'n value glass.
To each their own, I know lots of folks who shoot 870s and met a couple guys with $80k shotguns, many will work, some just do it better.
