As hunters we can be our own worst enemy sometimes.
Some folks don't think of the future just getting their animals and getting out.

Any locals step up Bill and ask if they could help to get them back into the program, maybe help with fences etc...

That sucks Bill. Typical though, hunters shooting themselves in the foot.

Logging on to WY F&G site to withdraw my elk application for the 3rd year in a row. Pains me to do it this year, but new position at work has been pretty demanding and dont think I can afford the time away for two elk hunts this year.

Good question, but I don’t believe so. Most locals know other places to hunt on public land.

applied for the Arkansas elk draw just now. I've never been drawn, but try and apply when I remember!
