Very nice rig. Congrats. If you ever get the inkling to buy another one give the Kimber's a look. Friend of mine was given one as a gift in 7-08 and it was and absolute beautiful gun and great shooter. That was until he killed a 170" class deer and in his excitement left in on the hood of the jeep and ran over it. Had to replace the glass but it still shoots great. It's just not a pretty now.

Vx3 3-9 or 4.5-14 magification. you will be happy with it as long as you live. My wife is 5'3" 115lbs and shoots one chambered in 300 wsm with a muzzle brake. Topped with a 4.5-14x50mm vx3 leupold and loves it.

the best thign to do is shoot as many as you can before deciding, but you typically cant go wrong with the out of the box accuracy of a remington 700, and thir lighter cartriges are great. My wife loves her .243, but is more than comfortable with my .300 RUM. Not suggesting the .300, but pointing out that its what you are comfortable with. Dot rule out the 25.06 Fast flat shooting round with very little recoil
