    Yes it is. And I think alot of people have a common misconception about what the suppresors actually do if they have never been around one. Its still loud just makes shooting more comfortable. Its not like you're gonna sneak up on 10 piggies and wipe em out without them hearing you.

      I paid $450 to have my trust set up by a lawyer that specializes in NFA trusts.

      For each NFA item, you will have to pay the Feds $200 to get your "permission slip" to own said item.

      Suppressors start at about $300 and go to around $1500 depending on what type you are buying. It's not cheap by any means.

      As to comments of the performance of suppressors, it takes a regular M4 AR carbine from very loud down to about the level of a 22LR. So to me they are very effective. There are specialized calibers out there that are very quiet.
