Also remember, rim fire ammo is extremely dirty, you don't want to run a lot of it in a can you swap around. You will notice a sound/performance difference.

I only use a longbow, but I would love to setup my daughters AR-10 with a can.

No, it doesn't. It just lets me know that you are most likely NOT a prohibited person as a lawyer advising you regarding an NFA trust and NFA items.

You can use either a 7.62mm or a 6.8mm suppressor.

                I should sound pretty good.

All in, what is the total cost on getting a trust and quality suppressor for a 5.56? Once you have a trust set up, am I right in thinking that you can purchase multiple suppressors for only the cost of the product?

I have fired them on lots of rifles and handguns. They don't do near what you think they will do. They are neat, but not worth the money unless you are getting one for a 22.

Once you are set up, you can buy as many cans as you want. You will have to pay the $200.00 transfer tax on each item. The tax is paid for EACH NFA device, $200.00 for SBR, SBS, MG, Suppressors or DDs. $5.00 for AOWs.

I paid $300 for my trust through an attorney, it's a one time fee.
They way mine was set up, I can put 10 class 3 items on it.
If I get more than 10 items, I have to have the trust amended for an additional page with more line items.

You still have to pay ATF their $200 for each item regardless.

Can any attorney set up a trust? I got a friend that is taking the BAR in a few weeks? Can she set me up?

So $500 or so with the trust and tax, plus the cost of the actual can. That's a lot of cash for the ability to shoot without ear plugs.

You can purchase mulitple suppressors for only the cost of the product + the $200 tax stamp (per product).

The trust is a one time fee.

                                Overall cost:

                                $450-??? for the Suppressor
$200 for the stamp (Remember, that is per suppressor)
                                $100-$500 for the trust.

That is about what I have been seeing since I started doing my research a little over a year ago.
