Took a blood test yesterday at the lab. Just got called by Doc nurse. Said I have to go down from 1.5 ml a week to 1 ml every 10 days cause my count jumped to 774! I told the nurse. No way, no,how cause by fifth day, I feel sluggish. Will talk to Doc. We shall see I rather stay 1.5 a week! It does make a huge difference than 1 ml a week.

your free testosterone is also a concern as well. it may be over the limit while the other is still in the "range"Last edited by ted_kennedys_liver; 04-16-2013, 03:31 PM.

If it was so high then I would feel no sluggish few days after my injection then when I get injection, I feel that surge. We shall see. I'll keep the update coming as I hear from Doc.
there are two testosterone measurements 1) testosterone and 2) free testosterone. free is the biggie. often when the basic test is in 700 range your free test is over. hormones are something you don't want to jack with. more is not better.
test can also be psychologically addictive (that is another reason they back you down). patients get to thinking they are way worse than they actually are with less. even though they deny it. reason why they are controlled substances.
I actually just read my latest test results and I misspoke in one of my e earlier posts - my natural test is 122 at the age of 41. its something I have been battling for 7 years. I am not an expert but have bought the tshirt.
honestly you are going to have a tough time finding a gen prac, urologist or endo to support your desire to take quantity to keep you in the 700 range. if your doc wont do it then you will have to go to one of the clinics that specialize in anti aging (they will prescribe hgh, test, hcg in off cycles etc - pretty much will put you where you want to be). kicker is most don't take insurance. pocket book keeps you where you want to feel.
I hear ya in terms of docs not knowing your body. only you know how you feel. I wasnt trying to be an arse in this response. sorry if out may come across as suchLast edited by ted_kennedys_liver; 04-16-2013, 06:39 PM.

oddly enough this range has increased over last couple of years. used to be like 200-750. the drug lobby is a powerful machine
the big measurement is your "calcium free testosterone". expected range on that is 4.8 to 25.0.

The 18G is fine for drawing. 22G is good for injecting. I prefer the 21/23 combo but that's just what's worked best for me.
I'd be curious to know why your doctor recommends the 1.5" needle. I know quite a few people prescribed and probably twice as many recreational users and the only people who use 1.5" needles are the ones who for some reason couldn't get 1". If he gives you any reason feel free to share!

Also, I do feel and see the result and I am losing weight and feeling good. I am 40 going on 41 in August myself as well. I'm not young gun anymore. Lol.
I sleep good and nap very little during the week compare in the past before i started on this. I feel more active and can also feel sluggish by end of the week before my next cycle.
But! I am still new to this. I guess I will see what Doc says after the nurse talk to him and go from there.

The key is to have a Dr that is progressive. I keep my T at 800. My initial test was 200. Man what a difference. I'm 42. Like my Doc says, why shouldn't you feel like a 21yr old. If your not feeling any effects you may want to get your Estrogen checked. Some guys when taking T doses cause their Estrogen to rise. Basically counteracting the increased T. Check it out.

gotta ask,.is your doc a testosterone specialist or a gen prac, urologist or endo.
its amazing how much this range has increased over the years since low t has become such a huge market
honestly I would be very way of being any thing over 900 for any length of time. I recall I was once at 850 and started getting knots/cysts under my skin at base of hairline, armpit, back of neck and other areas. they are called sebacious cysts. don't hurt but scare the hell out of you cause they don't go away very quickly.

The only reason why I said that because if and when they tell me to drop back to 1 ml every ten days, then I'll be back to square one because that didn't work the last time. That's why Doc said to take 1.5 ml every week because first time around didn't work so it was my fault for not explaining that in my first post.

is yoor cypionate vial 100mg or 200mg per ml?
my pharmacy.got me into the 1ml vials (200mg per vial) so copay is $20 for one month supply (4 vials). was thinking 3 years ago I had $5 copay for same thing. will go to a different pharmacy next month.
