A cheaper alternative for cycling off is Clomid. Costs me $53 for a one month supply of that vs $350 for the last round of HCG I did. The HCG was more effective for cleansing but the Clomid is still good. Also make sure you've got estrogen blockers during the off cycle.

My opinion is that regardless of age, or type of usage (recreational/prescription), the off cycle certainly helps. I've seen it in my blood tests, which I get every other month.
      Cushing? Is that you?

Hahaha! I've got a lot of athletes in my family, but none of his caliber.

And I hope he starts juicing about August so he'll be in peak shape throughout the season

Is there anyone that has been doing the shots for at least 1-2 years? I was wondering if you had noticed any side effects, etc over time?

I've been on the injections since June 2008. The only negative thing I've seen aside from slight shrinkage of the jewels, is the hair growth on my back. I can't stand it.

Fortunately I've got good hair and haven't seen any hair loss on the dome. Other than that the positives have far outweighed anything seemingly negative about it.

Oh yeah, almost forgot the biggie, "roid rage" is huge at the beginning. Fortunately I learned to control it after about the 3-4 month mark.

Yeah at 20 years old it's easy to loose control on the stuff. I nearly burned every bridge with family members and my closest friends before I realized what was going on.

Just something to be aware of for people starting it. Not everyone will experience, but always something that new users need to know.

Once per week injections are better then every two weeks.

Good lord, what was your testosterone level at during this "rage" period? Have never heard of this happening to someone that ison test for replacement therapy.

Most definitely. If your doc has you on a shot every two weeks, call him or her and ask if you could divide your two week dosage in half and give yourself shots weekly. It keeps you at a more steady level.

Interesting! I guess the older we are, the more mellow we are regardless of being on a T?
