Just something to be aware of for people starting it. Not everyone will experience, but always something that new users need to know.
you got on the stuff at 20?

that seems really young for a doctor to prescribe T dosing

      Just got my test back.

For the record, 34 years old, 220 lbs, lift three days/week, cardio 4 days/week.

      Test: 290
      Free Test: 56.9

How does that compare to your numbers?

I have been taking the treatments for a while because of low T I can tell you first hand its a life changer. I have always been active and maintain a pretty good diet and mine was below 200 at 47 most of the over the counter stuff is okay to help maintain your levels but won't do much to increase them. Feel free to PM me and I will give you any info you may want.

                  When I was 18 I got tested at 181.

Pretty sure I'm the youngest on this thread, but evidently not the lowest.

what is a normal doseage for once a week injections? my urologist acts like he is afraid to prescribe it in a way but he said he had other patients that didnt like the gel and had a better reaction to the shot.

I noticed a huge dropoff on day 8

It's usually different for every person, but my urologist tends not to go further than one week in between shots for anyone. If anything, he'll increase the frequency of the shot but decrease the dosage. I.E. at one point I was taking 1.5 CC every week, and I could feel the numbers dropping by day 5-6. We dropped the dose to 1CC but increased the frequency to a shot every 5 days. It did the trick.

For about 9 months I had to stop treatment due to abnormally high liver enzymes. It ended up having nothing to do with Low T treatments but Doc needed to rule it out. Fast forward to today - Doc tested my T and said my number came back at 470. He said I'm well within the normal range now so NO MORE TREATMENTS will be given.... Surprised to say the least.. Anyone have this happen?

I finally got mine re-checked last week. I've been taking injections every 14 days for almost a year. My initial level was 190 before I started taking the injections. My results last week showed my level to be at 183. Dr said to increase from every 14 days to every 10 days and have it checked again after 5 injections. I never expected it to be lower now than before I started the injections.

Test C, long ester? 1cc every 14 days? Sounds like you need 1cc per week.

This is the issue I have with Docs treating it that don't specialize. The peaks and valleys of an improper regimen that many use as a baseline is not fully effective.

I am on the 200 mg depotestosterone and was taking .5 cc every 14 days. So, 100 mg every 14 days. He told me to go to 100 mg every 10 days and have it checked again. The Dr I go to does specialize in it, I just didn't follow through with it like I should have from the beginning. That's my fault. I was supposed to go back after 4 months of shots and have it re-checked and I never did. I just kept doing the injections. Only reason I finally went back was my prescription was about to run out. I plan to do it the right way this time and hopefully get my levels where they need to be. The chronic fatigue is not fun at all.
