sorry to hear, i had a dog that started going downhill this summer, stopped eating and then started hiding in the back part of the yard. took her to the vet and found out she had fluid all throughout her abdomen. we got her some soft food and she started to eat a little and get her energy back. we found her in the yard about a week after taking her to the vet. it was really hard to let her go cause she was only 6. i'm glad that i didn't have to make the decision. i dont think i could have.

She's a beautiful dog and it sounds like she is a lucky one too, for having such a great life and family.
Treasure the time you have left with her. Try to find comfort that when it is time, she wont be hurting anymore.
And hard as it is, know that seeing it coming is a little easier than a sudden, unexpected loss...
