Mine are all full quill ostrich by Luchesse. Very comfortable and very tough.

Ive got black and brown full quill ostrich and a pair of elephants. I wear all Anderson Beans. The ostrich are just my dress boots and I wear my elephants everyday to school and work. If they get really dirty I wash them off with a car wash and they look brand new.... VERY tough boots!!!

If somebody is seeing the tops of your boots, you are doing it wrong.

i guess no one told them west texas cowboys that., heck you see the top of their boots so much, they should just wear starched shorts. i like the antelope boot..

Elephant is almost bullet proof. Will outlast everything. I re-soled mine untill they finally just couldn't be done anymore.

Another vote for shark, I've had a pair since 1975, they have been re-soled 5 times. The lower still looks like new, the upper is just about shot.

Might be time for a new pair…

Prices are really low, I'd bet you can get the hides you selected and shipped to your boot maker.

I wonder how tough that antelope is??? I wear them to work most days.....and usually wear them hunting.

I wouldn't think antelope would be very durable, but can sure find out for us tomorrow.
I have heard that shark will deteriorate faster than elephant. I'm thinking elephant may be the way to go.

I have a pair of Bison that I bought well over 20 years ago. The grain is a lot smaller than any of those you are showing, Dale. But, they've been great boots.
