It isn't hoarders. They know better than to waste that hard earned money on a box of shells they have 5000+ of. The craze has got people everywhere buying stuff that they normally wouldn't. That's the problem.
    Agreed.

A true hoarder doesnt buy anything unless its a good deal.... because he still has a stash in his ammo closet, box, safe, room.

The people buying from the flippers are the opposite of hoarders... there the guy that goes to walmart on the way to the range and buys a couple boxes to shoot while hes out there...

Hoarders load up ammo at home to take to the range, they search the internet or local stores for a good deal. buy it in bulk and put it on their shelves at the house.

Walmart is not your closet... people that are only now learning this arent hoarders.

The people buying from the flippers are going out and shooting that ammo soon, then they return to buy it from flippers... If hoarders were buying it they'd be done by now as everyone has a stopping point on how much ammo they want/ feel like they need to keep in house.

Again, Hoarders are not the problem.

If the Flippers would just leave it on the shelf they (the flippers customers) could just go pick it up for themselves... but like I pointed out earlier its a money making endeavor so I doubt they stop until the demand is not there any more... We are getting closer to that day by the hour Good Deals are setting on the internet for Days even weeks, as opposed to hours and minutes. The flippers day in the sun is soon to be up as the sun and ammo sets on the shelves loonger

      I can agree with that.
There are self-proclaimed hoarders on this site with thousands of rounds in a safe that are still buying/looking for more. I'll agree with you, that they are probably not paying inflated prices to the flippers. They are still depleting what little ammo is for sale though along with the flippers. This makes the flipper's ammo more "valuable" by making it even harder for anyone to obtain ammo from regular dealers/stores.
Also, my definition of hoarder is a little broader than yours.
Those people that thinks that's the last box they'll be able to buy are considered "new hoarders" in my book.
For the most part, we're kind of saying the same thing in different ways.

BUT, that's the difference in them and me. If a TBH member needs a box of ammo that I can spare, he will pay exactly what I paid. I don't need to "flip" ammo to make money.
I agree totally on people buying it up to gouge other people, they're in the bottom of the bucket in my opinion.
BUT, if a person has spare cash to buy up ammo to stick in the cabinet for future use, he's being smart in my book.

You have the right to buy as much ammo you want and or need and it is no ones business. You might not like it and if you are trying to buy some and can't I understand the frustration as I have had to deal with it just like everyone else.

If you are looking to blame someone then blame the current administration and all those that support him.

Supply will catchup to demand. There 's to much money on the table for it not to. I have probably bought 3 boxes for each caliber I own. Only because with hunting season on the way I don't want to be in a bind the week before opening day.

So don't blame the 3 flippers that get in line at 2 am. Even though you see them buy when store opens and turn around and ask you if you need to buy some ammo

It may be their "right" to buy it and resell it but that does not make it right.
